  • How do I get started?  We make it easy for you. Call us directly or just fill out a quick form on our Contact Page with a short description of your project. We will contact you promptly.
  • How much do you charge? Our rates are designed to be affordable and transparent so you’ll know what to expect. The cost is generated by the type of project, technical aspect, format, and turnaround time. Is your information handwritten, legible/poor writing, or already typed? How many pages, footnotes, bullets, or graphs?  We work efficiently to get you the most for your money, and the more time you give us, the less you’ll have to pay.  Request a Quote Now.
  • What payment methods do you accept? We accept PayPal, cash, and checks. Our credit card payment processing is handled by PayPal. It is not necessary to have a PayPal account and they securely accept any debit or credit card. We use PayPal because it is trusted and secure.

  • Are we trustworthy? We take pride in being very reliable and have helped hundreds of satisfied clients over the past 10 years. Feel free to view our Testimonial Page and long list of excellent references from happy customers.

  • Is my payment secure? Definitely! All payments via PayPal, debit card, or credit card are secure. We never see your payment details because they are secured by PayPal’s proven security systems.
  • Can you invoice my company? Yes, we simply send out an invoice at the end of the month to collect payment.
  • What’s included? We offer a wide-range of services, which determines what’s included with each service. Each project has it’s own unique requirements. Our standard editing services includes spelling, punctuation, grammar, word choice, consistency, conciseness, sentence structure, basic logic, and clarity. This goes well beyond what most copy-editing services offer — unless you pay them extra.
  • Do you guarantee the quality of your copy editing? Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. If you have any questions or concerns about your edited document, let us know.  We will make any necessary changes.
  • Will you gain any rights to my work? Definitely not. Any work that you submit to us remains yours and yours alone, even  the changes that we suggest to the text.
  • I need my project kept confidential, can you do this? Absolutely. We never share your private information and know best practices for maintaining confidentiality and protecting your information. It’s important to us because we know it’s important to you. We’re happy to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
  • How do I send documents to you? You can cut and paste your document via our Contact Page or send as a Word attachment in an email to: editwrite101@gmail.com.
  • How will I know what corrections have been made?  When proofreading or editing documents, we use the “Track Changes” feature in MS Word. You will be able to see all suggested changes, which show up in red. If you don’t like the suggestion, just reject it.
  • What if I don’t agree with the suggested changes?   When you open your document see the top ribbon and go to “Review.” Then see the “Accept” and “Reject” options. These options allow you to accept or decline the suggestion. Press next to go to the next suggestion. If you agree with all revisions, you can always select the “Show Final” option, which will remove all tracking marks, leaving you with your final corrected document. If you have any questions, we can walk you through it.
  • What format should I use?  We can take documents in any shape or form. But if possible (and to save you some money), please send your document in a word-processing program that is editable (such as Word). The document should be double-spaced in a 12 pt Courier font. We can also do this for you, but it will create more editing time. We can convert PDF documents to Word, and there is a conversion charge for this service. If you’ve already started designing your document before it’s edited, you may be getting ahead of yourself as changes will most likely be made.
  • How long will it take to do the job? Most straightforward jobs can be completed within 3-5 business days. Longer and more complex documents like company reports or university dissertations will naturally take longer and should be negotiated individually. In these cases, contact us in advance to discuss your particular requirements.
  • Will you do an urgent job? Yes, we specialize in Same-Day and Rush Services at high rates. If you are in a rush, we can most likely return your document to you fully copy-edited the same day. You can get a Free Quote Here.
  • Do you have a minimum, my report is only two pages?  We can take on any project, big or small.  We have even edited a single paragraph!
  • Who has copyright on the text?  The text belongs entirely and completely to you or your company. Edit-Write-101 will never attempt to claim it belongs to us.
  • I don’t have a credit card, how can I pay you?  If you don’t have a credit card, there are two methods of payment you could use instead.  The simplest way is to make a payment via PayPal.  The other way is to deliver or mail a check to us. We also accept cash. Please remember that if you send a check, your work cannot be returned to you until the bank has cleared it for payment. For that reason, PayPal is much easier and faster.
  • Will you write my school paper for me?  No. The ideas, information and opinions contained in the writing must be your own. Our purpose is merely to give a clear style and a grammatically accurate expression to the ideas you have. Besides the fact that any such writing work would be completely unethical, we probably wouldn’t know enough in your specific subject area to make the assignment appear convincing, anyway.
